The editorial board and management team of The Malaysian Journal of Nursing (MJN) would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the country’s premier and only circulating, broad-based nursing journal. Reaching an estimated readership of 75,000, the MJN is distributed extensively to the nursing and healthcare community in Malaysia, Australia, the US, the UK, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Bangladesh, and India. The journal is published quarterly and the first issue of the MJN hit newsstands in July of 2009. The MJN promotes excellence in nursing and healthcare through the dissemination of evidence-based, peer-reviewed clinical information and original research. The MJN also facilitates the discussion of relevant and professional issues and the promotion of nursing perspectives to the healthcare community at large. We have on board Datuk Dr. HJH Bibi Florina Abdullah, the ex-registrar of the Nursing Board of Malaysia, as our Editor-in-Chief. With Datuk Dr Bibi at its helm, the MJN will foster a spirit of togetherness and will help to advance the growing professionalism of nurses in Malaysia.
